This is the most beautiful. I love how the floor gets frosted, and then small flakes start falling. Feels like Christmas in the collage of Winterhold.

It's almost like as if the mage is learning new spells at the same pace as you learning animation.

As always, I wonder how do you do this. I mean... I don't understand how to get a good animation/digital drawing level like you (or others). Of course I train a lot, but I never managed to do something as amazing as yours.

Naprawdę świetne! Twoje postacie mają w sobie taki urok - są czarujące 8'D
Dym(para raczej?) jest świetny mimo kilku przycięć?

Te animacja są w 30 fpsach?

12fps. Trochę ścina bo próbowałem zaoszczędzić miejscami i robić w 6fps : p Ale skoro rzuca się w oczy to odpada i będę robił full 12.

wybacz jeśli cie to zabolało

By the way, are you using Photoshop? If so, how're you getting the aliased look on your strokes? I don't think Photoshop has a binary option, and its pressure controls stink for creating strokes that aren't riddled with opacity fluctuations. Its animation system always is kind of turdy in how if you ever alter anything on frame 1 it destroys the entire timeline. Sai can create the cells but needs an external program to batch together all the exported frames.

Someone will make a seamless raster based animation program one day.

I use Flash CS6 for animations.

But I'm pretty sure you can work with alias lines in PS. Check out www.twitch.tv/slickentertainme… I think his art is 100% aliased and he works in PS.

Toonboom has a very different look than lines in Flash. In a way, working in TB, it looks too manufactured sometimes, if you know what I mean. Flash's "I was made for creating banners in IE" interface drives me nuts. I think TB probably would have overtaken it by now if it just supported scripting.

I think he's using Flash?

Have you tried TVPaint? It's the best hand-drawn frame-to-frame animation program out there I've come across yet. It's got awesome brushes, blending options and even some effects (though applying them is kind of a pain in the ass). Not to mention line smoothing, like in SAI.
If that's not an option you can still use Lazy Nezumi with Photoshop to make your lines look smoother but I honestly think animating in Photoshop is torture. :\

Each time I open PS to try I end up closing it after a couple minutes, because of the memories. Will have to investigate TVPaint...
